Configure Limits

Change Default Limits

DevSpace Cloud lets you define default limits for each cluster. These limits are automatically used for each cluster user you create. You can change them via Clusters 🡆 [cluster-name] 🡆 Limits

New Cluster Users

When a new cluster user is added (by clicking on the invite link), DevSpace Cloud copies the default limits for this cluster to this user.

Change User Limits

DevSpace Cloud also lets you adjust the limits for each user individually.

Important Limits

The following limits are needed by many teams:

Ingress Options 🡆 Allowed Ingress Hosts

Allowed Ingress Hosts lets you define which hostnames the user can use when making an application publicly available on a domain (by creating an ingress).

Sleep Mode

Enable Sleep Mode controls if the containers in a Space should be put to sleep when the user is not working with this Space for a certain amount of minutes.

Templates

Templates allow admins to define which Kubernetes manifests or Helm charts should be created/installed inside every new Space the user creates.
